New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
With more than 20 years of service, I've worked in many law enforcement roles, and built my career from the ground up.
I started my law enforcement career in south suburban Robbins, Illinois as Police Explorer and then Explorer Post Commander. After joining the United States Marine Reserves, I returned home where I started my first law enforcement job as a Police Dispatcher and became a part-time Police Officer.
I moved to Minnesota in 1993, where I worked armed Security while studying for my law enforcement degree. While attending Central Lakes College in Brainerd, Minnesota, I served in the Minnesota Army National Guard. I graduated from Central Lakes College with a degree in Criminal Justice.
In 2005, I started working for the Lower Sioux Police Department until I accepted a position as Chief of Police with the Upper Sioux Police Department. I then served as the Chief of Police for Morton, Minnesota. I then returned to the Lower Sioux Police Department where I was the Chief Investigator and the acting Chief of Police.
